My Broken Fix-up

This is how it looked before I did anything with it:
This little jewelry cabinet means a lot to me because  I saw it every other weekend when I slept over my friend's house since I was 7 until December of last year. I have had this for maybe a year or two, she didn't want it anymore so I said I would take it ( because I liked it, and it has good memories) Sadly, one day the door of it broke of, as you can see, and the glass came out. I forget how it happened. Anyway I thought I couldn't use it anymore so I was going to throw it out. By the way the glass was NOT broken, I just didn't think it was useful. Until yesterday but it was to late, I threw it out MONTHS ago. :(  (and sorry about the fuzzy pictures I was using a really bad camera)

This is when its almost done. I originally wanted to paint it red but I did not have any red paint :( so I went with a light light blue ( not white) and metallic copper and black paint. Looks cool, doesn't it?
Anyway here it is finished :

See you can tell its blue in this picture. So my mom thought of putting a piece of wood where the open space was but instead of wood we put very thick cardboard and I also painted that black, but thinking of painting it with blackboard paint, so I could draw stuff on it. So out of all the projects I have done so far I like this one the best.
I hope you enjoyed :)

Blurry? Or Not?

I was trying to take a picture of the flowers in the front but  instead the ones behind them were clear and the ones in front were blurry! Can anyone explain to me how this happened?

My Lil House Makeover

Hi, I know I have not been on here in a while. But I have been busy, especially with school coming so soon. Anyways, this is something I painted a while ago, maybe like a month ago.

This is something me brother made a long, LONG  time ago (he also painted it). So he said I could have it, and for a while it was in the basement, so I decided to take it upstairs, and it sat in my room for a few months. Then one day I wanted to paint it :)

Obviously it's green and black. My brother said I was only aloud to paint it those colors ( which I don't get because he gave it to me). This took me over 2 hours to paint! I liked how it came out though. Here is the FINISHED picture:

I thought of putting the stencil on it at the last minute. And I think it looks more nice than it did after I put the stencil on. Don't you? And if your wondering where this would be going... it would be in my room. So this is my lil house makeover hope you enjoyed!

New Blue Wall Bucket

This is my bucket since I was a little girl. I didn't really like it, so i decided to do something with it. Which means MAKEOVER!!

I decided to use blue paint, because I liked it and thought I wouldn't have to put a lot of coats on. This is the first coat.

This is the bucket with its second coat on. I probably could have put three coats on but I only put two.

Okay, so for this part I used painters tape and chalkboard paint. I kind of wanted it to look like a frame. It needed three or four coats of chalkboard paint.

This is the outcome of my bucket makeover. I decided to put gold dots around the blackboard paint. I like how this came out better than my little chair I painted.

MAIL!!! Yes I use my bucket as a mailbox. I hung It outside of my door and my family sometimes puts mail in it. But besides using it as a mailbox its also there for decoration.

My lil Chair Makeover

Hi, I thought I'd share a little chair makeover with you. Here's how it looked when I was done...

Here's a little chair my mom gave me, so I decided to make it a little more my style. Here's what it looked like before:

This chair is tiny and you would think it would take 30 minutes to paint it but it took a lot longer more like 1hr and 30 minutes.
This is what it looked like during:

I first used the black chalkboard paint (I had to put 3 coats on). Then I used white paint. I left the blue from the way it was before.
This is another during photo:

This was not supposed to come out like this, I was going to keep it white and put a metallic copper stencil on it but I messed up :(
This is another after picture:

I ended up putting the stencil on anyway this time with my moms help, but I used the chalkboard paint instead of finding another color to use. I'm kind of glad I messed up on it, because I ended up liking it anyways. I guess you could call it a Happy Accident :)

Bee-u-tiful

This Is One Of My Favorite Pictures I Took. Even Though It Was By Accident. I Was Actually Trying To Take A Picture Of The Bee On The Flower, But The Bee Decided To Move Right When I Took The Picture. I Love How The Flower Came Out So Clear, And How You Can See The Bees Wings Moving.
